I thought every hero had 100ms guard switch delay, after their first guard switch? Some heroes who had slow guard changes, use to have a 200ms guard switch delay, but that was removed partially. A couple of heroes could probably do a side-dodge attack, but even that would be difficult because they'd have to beat the timing of the second part of the zone. When you add in the fact that non-assassins have a 100ms "guard switch recovery" delay before they can do anything after they change their guards, it means that heroes who don't have reflex guard are pretty much dead in the water if they switched their guard right before the toe stab was thrown. It's a fast attack with no "tell" leading up to it, so that makes it difficult to dodge on reaction even when used from neutral. The toe stab isn't a gladiator problem, it's a fight system problem. Yeah, unfortunately, there is no defense against Gladiator's zone attack.
